How We Work
Travel-Lite's van is parked in the lower car park adjacent to the obelisk marking the start of the West Highland Way.
There is a map showing the start of the West Highland Way and surrounding area if you click on van position.
Our vehicle will be there from 0800hrs-1000hrs daily before starting its assigned route
If it is not possible for you to reach the start by 1000hrs contact us and we can arrange a late pick up for you.
The cost of this service from Milngavie to Fort William using up to 8 stops is £35. This allows for one item of luggage per person e.g. rucksack, rucksack with tent/sleeping bag FIRMLY attached. Gilbert & Marion are local to Milngavie and also own the official Tourist Information Centre. We have extensive experience of walking the West Highland Way. We created the luggage transfer system for the West Highland Way 15 years ago. Since then, thousands of walkers have appreciated our professional and courteous approach.

Booking is recommended by filling in our online booking form, however, it is possible to join our service in Milngavie or anywhere else on the walk. Simply phone our office in Milngavie in the morning before you set out. If you are wishing to join that day make sure to phone between 8am and 10am to ensure luggage will be collected by the van.
